One of my friends bought this camcorder, I am really astounded that JVC would stop production on this camera. The quality on this thing is just mind blowing, a 3CCD camera in a small, affordable and in a tapeless design thats priced for the consumer market is an amazing achievement, and to discontinue them is a really striking move by JVC.

Maybe they have plans for a bigger/badder camera to overtake this one? Time will tell...
