Uh... Not sure where you got this, but Panny made the official announcement for the 103" plasma over a month ago. You can place your order right now and expect delivery of the first run of these panels in November. Price is actually closer to $70K.

Oh... my bad, you're referencing the Reuters news bit for Berlin. So I guess they're going to sell them in Germany too, eh? Cool.

It has made a big fuss here in the UAE.. they are selling them at special vip auditoriums in hotels here, esp. in dubai... almost every stock broker house is getting one.. most sheikhs and the filthy rich dudes are getting em in dozens.

I honestly would rather spend a $100k on one of them sony 4k projectors and make flicks off red and run a theatre for that much.

I agree. Why would people spend so much at a television if they could buy such a good projector that delivers so much more at that price?
I think those prices aren't responsable anymore, for a television set.

This is the game: new standard, high price; old standard, low price. Which do you think these companies prefer? (The one that makes the most $$$.) ;-)
