I appreciate Sony's shrewdness in incorporating blu-ray into the PS3. If they hadn't, in a year or so people would be complaining why they didn't when the manufacturing cost of blu-ray comes down. I certainly don't want to buy it with DVD instead. I certainly don't want the extra cables, or box.

Inconvenient because of all the delays and problems, but in the end the PS2 was a good buy because it had DVD, and this has blu-ray as an extra feature.
