Somebody should test one of the top models with the Sony HC7 with x.v.color on to see how much better the picture quality really is.

Concerning the surprise $100 price drop of the new, just shipping BDP-S300 Blu-Ray player to $499---its a very smart move on Sony's part.

If it gets further discounted later this year by dealers, I will probably pick one of these up so I can play both formats.
