Recording and Immediate VCD transfer
Hi,
I need to do a event whereby i am required to record the entire event and burn them to multiple copies of VCD immediately on the spot. so that it can be sold to the audience, is this possible? Is there any solution for this? ys |
If your a mac user check out Roxios Toast Titanium 6. It has a function to import directly from a dv device to create vcds or svcds. I'm sure there a plenty of windows software that does the same, can't name any though.
I suppose recording directly to a computer would save you the transfer time from tape. |
The problem is in the encoding time. If you bring a lapot you
can directly record on that and then encode it to VCD. There are also devices that can be hooked up to PC's or laptops that can store a stream directly in mpeg1/vcd which can then be burned to VCD. |
