Closed Captioning software

Hi folks

Wanted to know of the best, most professional closed captioning software that is also easy to use and learn. I have a ton of video that needs closed captioning and I downloaded Subtitle Workshop and was a little shaken up by the totally unfriendly user interface. I need to ultimately upload the CC files onto YouTube.

Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks!

I've used Media Subtilter from divxland.org successfully.
