Virb now has an interesting competitor: Webs - Make a free website, get free hosting

It's free. Anyone checked this out yet?

It's not free.

A web site with a custom domain name and " no adds" is $99 a year.

Much the same as Vimeo then - the free version gives you ads and no domain name. But Webs seems to have way more flexibility.

Would be nice to see a site someone's made to judge how intrusive the ads are.

I've yet to upload any videos to see how it fares in that respect.
