Mpeg StreamClip Encoding time.

I just finished a 14 min. project.
the movie is 1080 25p, and I need to upload it to youtube.
I am encoding to MP4 useing Mpeg Streamclip, with multipass on.
Now does it make sense that the encoding is going on for around 24 hours now?
I am using a HP XW8400 workstation (Dual 3.0 Ghz Xeon)

And does anyone has any experiance using Sorenson Squeeze 6.5?
Quality and encoding time wise (full HD mp4 for youtube)?

Thanks!

Arbel.

You didn't mention the finished pixel dimension (1920x1080, 1280x720) you want your output to be, or the bitrate your using. The stuff I have uploaded to You Tube has been HDV 1080i, and at 1280x720 and 6000-7000kbps, and I don't use multipass. I check the bitrate not to exceed 6000kbps, and it actually runs about 500kbps more than what you set it at. I have done a ~5 minute clip, and it take about ~15 minutes to render, and that's with a P4 2.80GHz processor.
