Best export for You Tube
I have about 11 minutes of vacation video I shot in 30p I want to put on You Tube. I am using Adobe Premier Pro. What would be the best form of export?

i think that the limitations on input file size are 100 mb? i don't know if there is a limitation on how long the clip plays.
i used two-pass wmv encoding for the source file, keep the native frame size if possible, but make the overall file size as big as possible, i.e., the highest bitrate that will keep the file size under the youtube limits. also take a look at vimeo.com, because they keep your input file linked online for people to see. |
Set your export at 320x240 and export with MPEG-4 codec and then mess with the quality settings so that your under the 100mb cap. You could also split up your video into two- 5min clips. This would give you better quality over all. That would be the way I'd do it.
Also check out what youtube says about exporting here: http://www.youtube.com/t/howto_makevideo Good luck |
