DVeStore and Lowel add additional prize to DVC 6

Lowel, the World Leader in Location Lighting and DVeStore.com are proud to announce the addition of a truly fantastic prize for the winner of DVC 6.

We wanted to truly inspire the folks that hung there and completed their films no matter what the odds. So if you're one of entrants, congratulations for getting in your entry!

The Grand Prize will now include a complete Lowel Rifa 44 Kit with soft case and stand!

If you're not familiar with the Rifa here is a snippet from the Lowel website:

"Creating beautiful soft key or fill light doesn't have to be strenuous or time consuming. Compact, lightweight, & self-contained, the Rifa-lite uses a simple design approach as old as the umbrella to achieve its quick & easy setup and strike capabilities. The ability to go from carry bag to stand, fully set up in one minute, makes Lowel's Rifa-lite the easiest portable soft-light to use."

Bathe almost anything, from talking heads to table-top stills, in luxurious almost fool-proof soft light.

See more at http://lowel.com/ and http://www.dvcreators.net/products/rifa.html

Once again, congratulations to everyone for your submissions! Keep producing!

...and thank you for the encouraging words for all the challengers!

Frederik, I seem to remember reading in the past on the Lowel site that it
depends on the bulb you put in there... As always check with the manufacturer
if you're planning on getting something like this.

Thanks for prizes Lowel & Guy! Good luck to all the participants,

Big props to Guy for setting this up. WIthout his continued sponsoring of the DV Challenge I'd have to provide the prize, and then you'd all just get bags of damp marshmallows.

Guy, that's super cool and generous. Dylan don't worry, your soggy marshmallows still sounds appetizing.

Uh oh, sounds like Fredrik is already planning to take home the prize!

Soggy marshmallows for runner ups? :)

The prizes are super cool. Thanks for supporting this event Guy.
The prospect of winning something definitely adds to the motivation
for taking on this challenge.

Dude! If you can't find your car, then are you sure that you even posted your video? I mean, I've lost me keys before... but the whole car? : )
