Memories: Do credits count in the running time? DVC 7

"If" I made opening credits like this... http://files.filefront.com//;6322053;;/
Okay, I did.... :)

Do they count as part of the 3 minute time limit for the DVC 7 challenge?
Or are opening/closing credits allowed to go over?

This is my first go at it so I thought I would ask.

Either way, let me know what you think.
My entry is going for a dark/eerie feel.... during the holidays of course. ;)

First of all, there has not been a disqualification for someone running over 3 minutes or whatever time was set up that I ever heard about.

Second, the time does not include credit rolls. But if you had 10 minutes of credits with video behind it, remember that the judges may not even bother to watch...

So point is reasonableness. Most of us run our main story in three minutes or under, and roll brief credits... Just be cool about it and no one will take issue...

Thanks Chris, I really had no idea so I thought it would be better to check.

Thanks again! I was going to include some flash/scenes in my opening credits, but it wont extend them too much.
