DVC6 - The Sun: Hollywood's a bit late on this one...
 

Well, 20th Century Fox finally came up with their DVC6 entry.

Fifty years from now, the sun is dying, and mankind is dying with it. Our last hope: a spaceship and a crew of eight men and women. They carry a device which will breathe new life into the star. But deep into their voyage, out of radio contact with Earth, their mission is starting to unravel.

Actually, it reminds me of 'The Core' but instead of going to the center of the earth to 'restart' the earth's rotation, we're going to the center of our solar system to 'restart' the sun.

But it's danny boyle... and the trailer loks fun and scifi-ish. I have a feeling it won't be as bad as it seems.

I think it looks pretty interesting too, but from the trailer, it looks like everyone dies...
