Congratulations DVC3 Participants

I just wanted to say congratulations to all of the DVC3 participants. You did a great job. While most major motion pictures that are coming out this winter are scrambling to re-shoot new scenes due to audience previews, you came up with an idea. Wrote a script. Shot, cut, and scored a three to four minute piece. It was a pleasure to join all of you and I look forward to the possibility of sharing more things in the future. Bravo to everyone!

Between all the contestants, we lost a combined total of 27 weeks of sleep. If you include the nervous week afterward, watching all the shorts show up and waiting for Dylan and the gang to announce the winners, that's 27 x 2 weeks for a total of 54 weeks of nervous video directors, producers, editors, sound people, DP, LD, etc. In fact, if you add up all the people involved in our shoots who are waiting for the results, we've spent YEARS on DVC3.

Man am I tired.

I just finished watching all of the entries, and they were great! The bar is being raised higher each time. More to learn and learn from.

Congratulations to all!

This has been an absolute blast!

I can't express enough how much I enjoyed all these films. Each with their own unique qualities and signatures, each with character and an evolution from a mere thought to final expression in just a matter of days. What an experience.

Thank you all for sharing your vision - BRAVO and WELL DONE!
