Just want to throw out a big public thanks to Guy Cochran and www.dvestore.com

I bought a Sennheiser G2 wireless system from them a few months ago, and recently had some hissy problems with the mic. Shipped it back, and got a replacement before I could send a "thank you" note! Made it easily in time for a shoot I had coming up, so I didn't have to rent a replacement. Perfect service that I doubt I would have gotten from one of the mega-online sellers.

I'll add a few words here.

First, a big thanks to Guy for the Video IPod prize for DVC5. Unfortunately, my wife has ripped it from my bloody fingers, so I won't be able to use it much. :)

Second, Guy has a very good, free video podcast called "DV Gear Talk" that you can find on ITunes. The many archived past episodes discuss a lot of specific equipment of interest to DVCers. I particularly enjoyed the episodes on the Tiffen filters and on the Sennheiser wireless mike.

Agreed. I don't think I've read the manual to the wireless yet thanks to watching the video clip (which is on his website as well).
