Email notifications?

Is there any way to check if there's a problem with email notifications for subscribed threads and forums?

My email notification stopped working about 2 weeks ago and I've had nothing since. No changes this end and checked spam folders/settings etc and can't see anything obvious.

Anyone having this problem too?

Thanks.

Sorry Paul, I show you to be in Automatic Thread Subscription Mode with instant email notification. No idea what the problem could be. If anyone else has this problem, please speak up.

It's been well over six months since it stopped working for me--probably closer to a year.

p.s. to Chris: Speaking of email, I sent two to your crowded inbox last week. I hope they got through.

Hi Lorinda, last week I replied to both of your messages immediately -- I hope they got through to you!

Lorinda could you please shoot me an email from whatever address you use most often -- I'll forward my replies from last week directly to that address. Thanks!

Hey Paul! Chris fixed my notification problem by asking for a different email address!

I’ve used the original address since I became a member here. Don’t know what caused the glitch, but by changing my account info here today to my gmail address I am now receiving notifications. You might try a different one and see what happens. :)

...and I'd forgotten how irritating they can be. ;)

Fixed

Thanks for your replies guys. The problem is now fixed - may be useful for someone else to know what it was:

I have an Exchange server with an anti-spam prog, GFI mailessentials. As part of this, it uses a DNS blacklist. One of the DNS blacklist services relays.ordb.org has recently ceased operation but with the side affect that it was blocking every single sender mail domain!!! With that entry removed, all is well again :)

Paul.
