The day before - on the 17th - there's an Avid seminar at The Sheraton New York Hotel (811 7th Avenue.) The seminar is free and runs from 10:30 AM to 1PM.

And if that wasn't enough, there's the DV Expo at the Javits Center on the 25th. That one promises to be a well attended affair.
