General Sony, Canon, Sharp, etc. DV Forum?

Hi,

I'd like to make a request and possible poll if necessary for the creation of separate Sony, Canon, Sharp DV forums. Something similar to the Panasonic DV/MX forum.

Excuse me if this has been requested before unsuccessfully.

Sincerely,

We already have separate Sony and Canon forums, Johann.

The Panasonic forum he references is more generic than our other camera forums. I think he is requesting forums by mfg. rather than models.

I think he's requesting those forums for general consumer one-chip DV camcorders, and I wouldn't mind taking on the higher-end single-chippers such as the Canon Optura, etc. Anybody else care for that?

Perhaps we could have a dedicated forum for all the lower-end one chip camcorder from all brands?
