Video clip linking/embedding/attaching at DVinfo.net

I have a couple questions regarding video on the forums.

I've noticed elsewhere that if a link is created to YouTube, the viewer shows up in the post, so the reader can click to watch. Here it shows up as a link...I'm thinking a viewer in the thread would keep us in the conversation and the forum, which would be preferable...?

I'd like to upload an unprocessed AVI from the D300s. It looks like AVI is not on the list of accepted wrappers, so maybe that's why things were just sitting there looking silly when I hit the 'Upload' button. Any chance of adding AVI to the list of attachable formats?
