Ensuring Sponsors give credit to DV Info

How do I ensure DV Info gets credit when I order from a Sponsor such as B&H?

I just want to make sure the board stays going.

Thanks.

Heh. Thanks, Ryan. If you really feel inclined, just pick up the phone, call them on their toll-free line and tell 'em. At B&H ask for Henry Posner or better yet Zoltan Rosenberg. Or considering how busy those guys are all the time, maybe it's better to just shoot 'em an email. Much appreciated,

Don't you need to make sure you get to the site through the DVinfo.net links to attribute your purchase to this site or am I mistaken?

B&H assigns a unique DV Info Net identifier to the link we're using from our Sponsors page, banner ads and other locations throughout our main content site and these message boards. But they also understand that customers are getting to them through other avenues even though we're the ones who may have put the idea in their head to buy from B&H in the first place. So they're aware that we're sending them more traffic than just the click-throughs. I have never been a believer in click-throughs anyway; that's just not the right model for this site so we don't use it. All of the DV Info Net sponsors are onboard with us for a flat rate but we keep a close eye on the traffic statistics regardless. Telling the person taking your order that you found 'em through us carries a much greater impact a the click-through, so just a verbal mention packs far more weight than clicking a link. Thanks again,
