As Gary correctly points out, we've never had a Private Messaging function on this site.

Fair enough but when people say PM I assume that they mean using the "send a message to user via email" option.

Is the OP suggesting that isn't working?

I received a PM from a member and it went to my junk mail so it was lucky I caught it.

Now I've gone on a hunt trying to find my messages in order to respond and I can't....

Until now, I've never come across a forum where PMs aren't allowed. Unusual!

Our PM is not working either, but I think it is because there is an election approaching.


PM's not working on this forum site is quite possibly a good thing. They are in some forum implementations not quite as private as people may think. They are stored on the server and can be trawled through by a zealous admin if needs be. The current system of emailing other members remains more secure.
