IBC Roll Call
 

Just curious how many DV Info Net folks are planning to attend IBC in Amsterdam next month.

I'll be that near to hear RED's power-on click but it's our little Europe. So You may not see me.

I'll be there from friday - tuesday (maybe not on sunday). I will mostly be
hanging around the RED booth.

It's in Amsterdam? I really wish I could make it now...

pass booked, plane rebooked (after canceling it because of the hand luggage debarkle), and hotel still to book. i might live like hobo! kidding.

does anyone here know of a cheap good hotel with easy access to the show?

Last time I checked they had some decent prices. They've actually booked
a lot of hotels in and around Amsterdam which means you can't book these
outside of this service (which makes it now very hard to find anything else).

I've noticed that the RAI hotel service can get a much lower rate for you too.

You know, had I known about IBC earlier I might have tried to go since I finished summer school last week, but I'm already booked to go back to California for a visit. =P Oh well.

I've booked my place and Hotel. I'll be going over for the IBC Weekend.

But once there, I'll visit some other things too.
It's cool to have a big event like that for once not in America, but at a place I can easily visit.

And guess what, you can go every year! This is actually my fifth time, been a
lot of fun the last 4 times.

Unfortunately there was only 5-star hotels available in walking distance from IBC when I made reservations :)

Spouse and Vera, 3 months now, will be with me as well so they should be OK when I'm at the exhibition...

I'll be there with two new HDV Converters in the Convergent Design Booth. Amsterdam is a fabulous city, just avoid the coffee shops and the Red Light district.
