Take them up on it. You won't be sorry. They were one of the few zines to point out some serious flaws with Avid XSI 3D modeling program. Everyone else was giving glowing reviews and not saying anything about the problems installing it. They've earned my support at least. (And I can't remember if he was talking about DirectX or ActiveX and the registry).
