Almost immediately, the American Red Cross released $10 million to support humanitarian relief activities. Our disaster response experts have joined our staff in Haiti and Red Cross volunteers from around the world to establish field hospitals, restore water and sanitation systems and distribute supplies. As we learn more about the situation in Haiti, we are expanding our support by sending additional staff, supplies, and financial aid.
