Progressive DVD? Please help!

I'm wondering if I can edit photos in final cut w/ the sequence setting on "no field dominance". Then make a dvd (w/ studio pro) without interlacing. It's made to play back on some LCD screen so I'm worried about interlacing lines! Is this possible, and could someone tell me what to do in studio pro to avoid or turn off interlacing? Thanks alot.

Short answer, no.

Standard DVD players can only read 480i information.

Your DVD player may have a progressive switch which de-interlaces the video for use with LCD type displays. If you don't have this option on your DVD player, your LCD display has it's own de-interlacer which should produce a decent image without the combing effect.
