Mixing 30f and 60i on a DVD?

I filmed a golf tournament last week and filmed the action with a Canon XH-A1 and I think the other guy had an XL2 also set on 30f. The reception and party later were filmed on a smaller 3CCD camera which only filmed 60i. If we edit the footage as separate movies in separate projects, how do we then put the 2 movies on 1 DVD without any problems? Will it work fine? Or do we need to do some sort of crazy converting? It will be edited on the Adobe CS3 suite
