dvd burned from dvd studio--vertical scrolling

Well this is the weirdest thing ever. So I authored a DVD from DVD studio (2), and I pop into my regular DVD player to proof it. Soon as it comes up on the screen. . .it starts going crazy, like the vertical hold on the TV is messed up. It's also black and white, when it's supposed to be in color. Popped in a commercial DVD from blockbuster to see if it was the player. The commercial DVD was fine. Popped the other one back in. Still going crazy.

Ever heard of this?

PS it's a 42" plasma TV and doesn't have vertical hold!

That's odd. Sounds like you might have burnt it in PAL format. Sync and color info is definitely messed up, which is why I suspect that's the problem. Do you have another DVD player to try it in?

I do not. But I will look at the settings. Thanks. Don't know how I did that.

PS I don't know if it's fixed for everyone else, but I'm still not getting the DVinfo notifications when someone responds to my posts. And that's bad 'cause I'm VERY NEEDY. This is going to set my therapy back YEARS. OY!
