Dvd Printable Expieriences

Does anyone have any insight in the new world of DVD Printables? Such as expierience with the Epson R300, or were to get the best price on DVD Printables??? Is there any competition for the R300?

I can't rate the R300 compared to other printers with DVD printing capability, but I can say that the R300 has worked well for me. I've printed about 30 disks so far (Ritek 4X DVD-R from www.rima.com) and they are coming out great! Ink dries very fast and no smudges or complaints from customers yet.

The Ritek disks have worked well also. No coasters and the cost is only $1.02/ea for 100 pack. There's another thread here somewhere discussing this topic, but I don't have the link handy.

The Epson 300M has worked well for me so far. I have been printing on memorex printable CD-Rs. At first I coated the print side with Krylon clear acrylic spray to seal it as suggested on some other forums. But now it dosen't seem to matter as long as you let the ink dry for about 12 hours before heavy handling. The layout software that comes with it is really neat too. You can make it as professional looking as you want.....

Mark
