Questions about DVD Studio Pro
 

Hello all. I have been reading a lot today about DVD production and I am using FCP studio 2 on a dual core MacPro . I have some quality issues with a wedding video Im putting out and wanted to know what others think on these subjects:

FCP to Compressor to DVD studio pro - I burned strait from FCP to an Mpeg2 for standard def DVD. Im not too happy about some of the transitions and was wondering if you can tweak any settings when burning to standard DVD that may help make transitions smoother

Can you use Toast instead?



I have tried to output 1 hour of HD footage in Studio Pro2 to burn to a standard disk but in HDDVD . I have done this with 10 minute clips but I cant get the 1 hour long wedding to compress in HDDVD. Machine works for 3 days and nights but gets near the end and doesnt advance. Anyone here able to burn a 1 hour HDDVD from Studio Pro?
