Printer Software?

Any suggestions as to what software to use when printing DVD box inserts, jewel case inserts and video tape labels (VHS)?

I've tried a few programs but I'm not happy with any. Avery Design Pro comes closest to a good all around program but it won't allow you to import Photoshop files with alpha channel. Not even the more sophiticated pay version!

Are there any Avery templates out there for Photoshop?

What do the professionals use and is there anything simular for us little guys to use?

Thanks
Bill

power point and a good scanner (to measure size0

be aware that there are different sizes depending on the dvd box..

My clear ones are 7mm smaller than my double sided ones.. so its an idea to make afew dunny sizes for different boxes...

I think quite a couple of burning and authoring packages come
with insert and label designers these days. Nothing truly fancy,
but it should print correctly at least. Then I think there are also
quite a large a mount of designer out there as standalone
programs. I've never really looked at them myself, so can't help
you any futher then this. Take a look around in your system and
CD collection. You might already own one!

Most (newer) versions of Nero come with a designer I believe.

Thanks guys,

I do have quite a few free programs that came with labels, but these are very basic. Maybe I can create some templates in Photoshop with a bit of work.
