losing sleep over replication!

Had 3 or 4 DVDs replicated in past years with no problem. This year, a replication house (which I haven't used before) tells me I have CSS turned on and have to pay $100 more for that feature. If I don't want it, I have to send a new disc.

I don't mind paying extra if I have to, but the problem has me baffled. None of the relevant copyright/CSS boxes were checked in DVDSP and I submitted the video on a regular DVD-R, not an authoring disc or DLT.

My biggest concern is not whether or not there's CSS, but distributing a bunch of corrupted DVDs that don't work at all. They tell me it seems to function OK, but I'm going to lose sleep.

Any thoughts on what went wrong or how to fix it? It doesn't look like there's anything to avoid doing, so it probably wouldn't help to send them a new DVD.

--------PLEASE IGNORE: they got my project mixed up with another. All's well.
