Dvd back up/help

One of the post a person spoke of using a dvd to back up material.

Here is my problem. Last winter I had a project which I burnt two rough dvd's of the film project to scrutinize. just afterwards we had a computer crash problem and I lost the ability to bring up the original penicle project. I have hundreds of hours into the two roughs and just can't bring myself to redo the effort from scratch. I moved away from penicle sense then.

Is there a way I can retrieve the data off the dvd, put it into my adobe program and finish off the vido??

Can you see any directories and files on the DVD using Windows Explorer?

Canopus Procoder Express is possibly the cheapest way of getting good quality avi files from the files on a DIY DVD.

If you have Liquid Edition 6.1 you can import the VOB files from your DVD and edit as you want.
