Some 7D eye candy for you

Now that the 7D is shipping, and lots are waiting for delivery, some folks are getting theirs and of course the vid's are showing up on the web...

so while your waiting on your delivery of a 7D enjoy this eye candy..

you can see the 10-22mm lens used in the tight corner shots...
the other lenses used were the 70-200mm and 50mm

Great Colors, Great Job!
Thanks for sharing!

That was really sweet! Did you just use the lcd for exposure and focus?

Don Miller October 2nd, 2009 10:28 AM

Nice, I think the fast shutter work for that piece. But in a longer form it might be too much.

Jerry Porter October 2nd, 2009 10:38 AM

Man every time I see work done with this camera I want one more and more. Great looking stuff and a favorite topic of mine as well.

Looked great, thanks for sharing Ray. What format did you shoot it in? 60p for smooth slow mo?

Ray Bell October 2nd, 2009 11:22 AM

Sorry, I should have gave credit to the originator in my initial post...

the footage was shot by Simon Cudby, a pro still shooter, coming over to the video side...

he answers some of our questions below the video on Vimeo...

from what I understand he shot it in 60P 720 and pulled it down to 24P in post

Eye candy indeed! Some very nice shooting and editing by Simon.

The 7D in Good Light

I'm mostly a still-shooter but, for many, the video capabilities of the 7D are justifying its purchase alone.

I think that I'm going to be spending more time than ever looking through a view-finder next year. The creative capabilities of this "imaging device" are simply enormous.

Great find there! Thanks!

I'm glad to finally see some fast action shots with this camera.
