New Canon 7D Short
 

Decided to make another quick short with the 7D. Experimented with a few more lenses this time:

Canon 85mm f2.8
Canon 20mm f2.8
Canon 50mm f1.8

Take a look and let me know what you think. :)

Very nice dude, I like your short, don't see much aliasing with all those buildings maybe because of Vimeo? or are you soft focusing those buildings to avoid aliasing?
I am so missing the snow, lived in Montreal, Canada for a few years and just love the winter there, btw should it be 85 1.8, don't remember they make a 85 2.8?

Oh woops. Sorry about that. Meant 1.8. Too many fstops in my head right now. :)

No soft focus just made sure to keep my shutter speed under 1/60. That seemed to keep the noise way down. Plus making sure to keep my ISO pretty low.

That looked really nice!! I have noticed on my 7D that a shutter of 50 shooting at 30p produced the least amount of aliasing for me as well.

Yeah with enough light you do really well in regards to noise. I haven't tried a low-light situation yet. Gonna see about doing a night shoot in the next week I think. I have a shoot coming up in Downtown Charlotte Wednesday so that would be a good place to try I think :)
