Commercial shot with 7D
First commercial work I shot with the 7D.
Ambient light on most except for the ending and a few of the graf artist. Shot 60p with a Zeiss 50, Canon 10-22 and Canon 100 Macro. Edited and Graded in Adobe Premiere CS4. |
Feels and looks nice.
I've don't know what it's selling but maybe that's the idea. |
Very nice, I just love high contrast shots. It looks like bleach bypass.
BTW, how do you proceed to ingest 7D footage into Premiere? I want to buy one but I dont know the workflow. |
Right now I use Cineform to convert all 5D and 7D footage for Premiere. Its been working really well for me so far.

Very nice. Did you add sharpening in camera or in post?

Which Cineform product do you use for intermediate? How much time does it take to take and convert files from native to the Cineform files?
I'm thinking of going with Cineform, just don't fully understand which package(s) are needed for the 7D using Sony Vegas and what it means in terms of workflow/time. |
I use Neo Scene and its not too long of a process if you have 8 core with fast HD's.

Ill Commercial ...
That was hot - inspiring. I love the Nas sample mixed! That's a look that's absolutely music video-ready.
Question: What's your workflow/shooting to get the smooth slo mo? I'm a hair trigger from picking up a 7D myself and didn't know if you shoot it in 1080 and slow it in the timeline, or need to shoot 720 @ 60 and dump it into a 1080 timeline and slow it down there. Any thoughts would certainly be appreciated. Thanks - and congrats on a nice project. --Brandon |
