Constellation

This video contains shots of a fifties era Constellation. This particular airplane was a radar plane believed to be used by the CIA and this type of plane was also the first Air Force One. This plane is massive, the engines sit approximately ten feet off the ground.

I keep posting videos hoping that people will offer some sort of advice. From the number of videos posted here I guess people like to talk about using the 7D rather than shoot with it and share the results here.
Some of these shots were used in a previous video called "Amused to Death." A couple of people asked if I had enough footage to produce an entire video for the "Connie."

Anyway, if your into airplanes I hope you enjoy this.

After 120 people have viewed this you'd think someone would have an opinion they'd like to share?

I'm not a plane person... but this is a nice looking plane. for me it was a bit too long and too manny Jib shots... I think that you didn't use the cameras DOF that much. I would have likes some more close ups of the planes details and some focus shifts. The exposure and colour looks nice...

Thanks Markus.

This was one of the first things I shot with the 7D and I was too impatient to wait for the neutral density filter to arrive in the mail. Since it was so bright out this was pretty much shot at f./18-22, not optimal for focus or DOF.

I had also just built the jib so I went nuts with it. Some of the shots of this plane were for another video "Amused to Death," you can see it here if you like: www.vimeo.com/8372960, so the shots I included in this video were the out takes from that one.

Thanks for watching and taking the time to reply.
