Birds in flight - fast & slow shutter speeds + slow motion

This short video clip of birds in flight is a great visual description of how different shutter speeds and apertures affect the look of the footage or frame grabs.

Thanks for the post

Hello Tony

I read your post last week and used this advice on the weekend. I am new to DSLR videography only having my 5D2 less than one month.

I film landscapes, travel and sports - all home videos. Taking your advice on the 1/2000th shutter speed I used the Tv program at that speed to film running races on the weekend.

I am still editing the video - but it has improved the video dramtically - thanks for your post and for reminding me to use a fast shutter speed for fast moving action.

With regards

Jeff
