Hey guys - I love both also. I agree with you 100% that FS-4 is a better choice for real estate. It is prtable, light weight and it gives hima ll the benfits he's looking for - except recordign directly to the laptop.

Note: Not all camcorders support tapeless recording with DV Rack or FS-4.
