My main concern would be that I also use Color & DVD Studio Pro, and am hoping to use the Magic Bullet plug-ins before too long... Does Edius in y'all's opinion do a good job handling "special effects?"

When asked for the s/n, I use the 4.0 s/n provided on the new disc and the prompt says to provide a "real" s/n. Then I key the s/n from 4.6 and I get the same prompt. Finally, I key a s/n provided by Grass Valley. Same story!
Has anyone had this problem?

This machine has edius 511 on it. A few things about the UI and timeline confuse me.

Edius has a free tutorial for v4.
