The best I've gotten is a completely black box, and otherwise, no recognition from the cam, ( vx2000). I am downloading the pic from here: dsc00155.jpg, Sony Memory Mix, matte, chroma, 4:3 simulation of 16:9 panoramic anamorphic letterbox bars, with pixel scale on Flickr - Photo Sharing! . I know it must be something to do with the naming convention....Does anyone have a .jpg that is just ready to go...drag and drop on the mem card....or, can someone point me in the right direction? We use the HD1000E only in SD/DV mode and very often in lowlight situations. And that's especially what I need, less noise and a better picture in lowlight situations on a shouldermount camcorder. I know people having a PD170 and working in 16:9 mode for the same broadcast station as we do. I loaded tape as a backup but never had to use it when I recorded direct to a Firestore FS-4.

The top mic was removed and I don't know if I have it. I do have the wide angle lens.

28X10 operation
0 Drum run
0 Tape run
1 Threading

Anyone care to give me an idea what it's worth ?
