I currently own a Panny HPX500, which means 2/3" chips and lens. Do 35mm adapters on, say, a 1/3" camera make that much more of a difference over my setup? Will I notice a dramatic difference in DOF compared to my 2/3" rig?
I like the idea of using prime lenses. I'm considering adding a 35mm rig to my equipment if I can have that much more control over the image.

Not sure if this is the right location on the site.

Has anyone ever rented a Infa-Red camera that is broadcast quality? I have a client that want to survey power lines and has asked for this option.

Hello everyone,
I've created a DOF adapter, and I am very pleased with the results. The brightness is very good even with 2.8 - 3.5 lenses (but mainly using it with a f1.8). The only thing I am a little bit concerned about is edge-to-edge sharpness. Is there a way to improve on that? I am using a homemade groundglass and BCX lens (cannot easily tell the diopter of it).
Usually I get a pretty sharp image in the center and loosing focus to the edge. Is this because of the f1.8?

Your help is appreciated!
