Hi there

further to my last thread, I'm refining the request: has anyone uploaded a hi-res file of location HDV 720p footage shot on the GY-HD series cameras? I guess a short clip or trailer from a documentary would be ideal.

If so, can you point me to it?

Thanks.

Because I'm using a couple of HM700s I'll also be using my HD101E I would like to shoot the whole thing in 720P25 - I'm wondering if this will work with how fast dance concerts can move or whether I'll see too much progressive "stutter" - I'm assuming that if I do it this way I'll shoot 720P25 with 1/50th shutter?

I've always shot 50i standard def in the past so I need t know if there are any "gotchas" as well, when outputting an SD DVD? workflow is Avid multicam - Procoder - Encore CS3..

I haven't got the facility to upload a sample clip of HDV for them to make a comparison, and though I've searched here and elsewhere I can't find an uncompressed sample HDV clip shot on this camera for them to look at.
Has anyone uploaded such a thing? Or can point me to where I might find one?

I was wondering if there is a cable connector adaptor
that will allow the use of a Panasonic 2 inch VF
on the HD200UB. They both use the same connector
but wiring differs between the two VF wise.

Also,as an aside, is the 17x JVC lens significantly better
than the stock 16x ?

I just purchased the SmallHD DP1 and I'm wondering what sort of mounting options I have. I have found it surprisingly hard to look for the accessory arms so I must be missing something. I'd like to have some options for mounting the monitor, one for mounting it on top of the camera and having the ability to swivel and tilt the monitor as needed and another option (which might be more challenging) to have a bracket that mounts on my tripod. I'm not sure if such a bracket exists or not.
What ideas do you guys have?

hi experts !

today in berlin i saw a clean-looking Krasnogorsk-3 cam with the Meteor 1.9/17-69mm.
it has an M42 / Practica mount.
can I get an adapter to fit it onto my 251?
is it correct that the lens has a reputation for good quality ?
