HDV audio issue

Can someone help with this.
M2T files from Z5, rewrapped with Clipwrap (audio left as is, not changed to LPCM.)
The re wrapped .mov dropped in FCX in a 1440x1080 25P, 48kHz project.
Im getting this, (see pic)
The gaps in the audio are mostly about 20 frames apart, but not always. They roll off rather than being straight cuts. It is sometimes unnoticeable when listening, but once you know its there......
Original cam files dont have the issue in other NLEs
The re wrapped files dont have the issue in other NLEs.
Media info for both the m2t and the rewrap (see pics)

Re: HDV audio issue

Have you tried transcoding a file to ProRes?

Thanks William,
Do you mean from within Final Cut (optimise media, Ive done that, no change)
or before import?

Re: HDV audio issue

Change the audio to LCPM as I remember FCP7 had problems with AC3 audio that HDV cameras record.

OK, sorted.
It happens with Clipwrap. I was leaving the audio as a pass thru, stream copy.
In Clipwrap preferences you can select Convert to LPCM as an option.
When doing this, all is ok with the audio, (weird though, it actually changes the duration of the clip, might be an issue if multi cam. See pic, same clip in same place on timeline with the 2 different audio options. Thats a problem for another day.....)
You called it William. Thanks.
