Infrared/Thermal effect in Final Cut at DVinfo.net

Hi. I'm trying to do an intro video for the Orlando Predators and I need to know how to make footage look infrared (like the Predator's vision in the Predator movies). If anyone knows how to do this in Motion or Color or anything for that matter then please let me know. Thanks.

In final cut, play with the color offset filter under the video filters, channel.

Take a look at the wealth of filters from Noise Industries, part of their FxFactory Pro pack. You'll easily be able to create that effect - and dozens of others - in just a few short clicks.
