Updates to Mac slowing down Adobe Suite

I just updated my Mac last night with updates that came up for Safari, Leopard, Time Machine and a few other things. I figured 'why not, they should make it work better'. Bad me. Now Premiere and After Effects are taking longer to load, render and switch between each other. I also disabled the dashboard. Those are the only changes I made, there is no other software installed except what came on it, and the Adobe Suite. I found out Time Machine was not enabled either (I guess it never asked me to set it up when I installed Leopard, so I never even knew about it...I`m a 12 year PC user, haven`t used a Mac in 7 years) So is there any way to undo the updates that I did yesterday? The machine was working fine without them :(
