Batch Size/Quality Conversion

Hey. For some strange reason I find myself exceedingly productive when I'm out in a coffeeshop somewhere - this is where I'm writing up my script for my movie.

The drawback is that I've got about 300 gigs of H.264 high-def files that I can't bring with me - unless I wanted to lug two external drives around everywhere I go.

What I'd like to know: Is there any way to batch convert all those files to a small filesize (say, low-quality H.264 at 320x180 resolution)? Is this a job for Compressor or is there another tool I should be using?

Sure, Compressor is great for such things...

You can drag the individual clips into Compressor and apply the same settings to all clips. Might be wise to test on one or two clips first as well as save the settings so you don't need to repeat the settings once you've found the proper formula. Submit the batch overnight and they should be nice and compact in the morning.
