FCP/Compressor to Sony DVD Architect

I'm currently using Sony Vegas as my editing/authoring software, but we are slowly moving towards FCS. I have someone editing for me in FC right now, but I will be building the DVD's in DVD Architect. I exported the movie from FC to Compressor and used one of the DVD settings. It created an .m2v and .ac3 file that I tried to import into DVDA, but no luck. What would be the most compatible codec to use during this transition?

I had to do a FCP to Architect DV NTSC project just last week. What I did was render out a DV quicktime file from FCP. Then transferred to the PC. Threw the file on a Vegas timeline and rendered it out to one of the DVD presets.

So basically, I used Vegas as the compressor. Work like a charm.

If you are going back and forth between a mac and PC, I recommend investing in a program called macdrive, it will make your life a whole lot simpler.

Theodore,

I rendered it out using Compressor as a DV Anamorphic .mov. I haven't had a chance to look at it yet, but I hope it works out. I've never used anything other than a DVD ready .mpg or .m2v file in DVDA. Why wouldn't the .m2v file that Compressor created work in DVDA?

Someone else could give you a better answer, but it's basically a codec issue. DVDA doesn't support M2V.

I think I need some more help here. I tried to export it out in the DV format, as well as H.264, but still no luck. Any other thoughts?
