going between systems

I am looking to get a used mac with FCP, is there an easy way to transfer files between FCP on a Mac to adobe on a PC? how would i compress the video to switch between systems if necessary? Is it worth it?

If you are trying to go to After Effects 7.0 or CS3 from FCP then you could use Automatic Duck's Pro Import AE 4.0

Hi Molly,

You can look here http://www.automaticduck.com/products/piae/ and get all the information you need on Pro Import AE.

It costs $495.
