Compressor does not respect frame rate

Hi:

I have HDV 1080p25 captured from a Canon XHA1. If I wish to convert using an Apple TV HD template, I can get 960x540 at 25fps, but if I wish to convert ot 1280x720 it insist on 24fps.

I'd like to convert to high quality for web, in 25fps, at a resolution that permits enjoying fullscreen viewing. What conversion and compression do you use or recommend? (and while at it, what compression do you choose for sound?)

Thanks, Erik

The Apple TV hardware is just barely fast enough to decode 24fps at 720p, it can't guarantee to play anything higher without dropping frames. Compressor is aware of this limitation so that's why it won't let you encode 720/25p. To get 25p or 30p you have to drop down to 960x540.
