Aperture and Final Cut playing nice?

I have multiple workstations running both updated versions of Final Cut Pro and Aperture. On all but one of the workstations I can drag and drop picture files from Aperture into bins within FCP, but for some reason I can't find any settings in the programs that would differentiate the machines. The project I'm working on is incorporating a large number of high res still photos, so to search and find them on the main disk, or even export and then import through FCP is a pain, and the drag and drop method is much smoother.

Thanks for the help in advance, and I'll be happy to provide more info if you need it,

ML

What exactly happens when you attempt to drag/drop?

Now I've got a new development, some will go and others won't, but the photos that won't transfer have nothing in common or different than the working ones.

Basically for the ones that don't transfer, I can drag a opaque thumbnail into final cut, but it just snaps back across the screen when I let go of the mouse.

Thanks
