Save Text Title in FCE?

I produce short news videos for my newspaper's website, and I often place a title at the lower 3rd of the video when I have an interview. Is there a way to save a simple text template clip in FCE without using LiveType?

I created a Lower 3D text, with drop shadow, Solid Background, and motion so the title slides onto the screen, but I have to redo it every time I do a new video. I would like to be able to pull up this clip and just change the name/title for each different project.

Save just your text clip in a sequence as a separate project, and then copy and paste it into your new project, then edit the text in the pasted copy?...

(You can open multiple projects at once to do the copy/paste.)
